Professor Kelvin Wang is a leading figure at the School of Nursing and Assistant Dean for Professional Development in Health Science at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He holds multiple degrees from HKU, including BN, MPH, MPhil, and PhD. A Fellow of both the UK Faculty of Public Health and the American Academy of Nursing, Prof. Wang is the principal investigator of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Smart Family Link Project (Phase 2, Nursing) and co-leads the Smoking Cessation & Tobacco Control team at HKU. He serves on various councils, including the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and the Council on Human Reproductive Technology. An associate editor for BMC Public Health, he has published over 210 papers in prestigious journals, achieving a Google Scholar H-index of 37. His research focuses on behavioral interventions, addiction, and health communication, with notable work on alternative tobacco products and community-based smoking cessation programs.
